We had a wonderful three lecture experience with Elise Moore. Her coming early for a pre-lecture workshop was most helpful, and her staying over an extra day and going to our Wednesday night service was most appreciated. She certainly went the extra mile for us! Another special bonus was when she talked to our Sunday School students after our lecture at our church. We got great reports from both students and parents. One student said that Elise answered all her questions! At our first lecture at Manor Park, which is a retirement home, about two thirds of the audience were new comers, and the comments I got was that Elise had very pactical ideas on how to pray. Several even wanted to go that night to hear Elise give her talk at our church. The lecture at our church was mostly attended by our church members, but we had about 8 non members and new comers. Our best response was from the Spanish lecture the next day at Casa De Amigos. which is an organization to help mostly the Spanish community. We had about 30 or more Spanish friends and the response after the lecture was most gratifying! They bought a lot of our Spanish literature and said thay wanted to come to church and bring their children in order that they would learn how to pray.
