Healings/comments from Wichita KS talks

It's been several weeks after the two lectures in Wichita KS, one on the university campus and the other in the Christian Science church. Here are comments and healing results:

"I have heard of 2 physical healings directly attributed to the lectures—immobility healed and a cold averted. We had visitors come to our church that weekend, and since that weekend. Two men have been coming regularly since the lecture weekend. We also have had more activity at our reading room, on the “live chat” days, as well as the Monday after our lecture weekend.

Elise spoke at length with an MD who asked pointed questions about treatment, with very clear responses from Elise, to which the MD could readily relate. This is a friend of mine, who asked me to speak with her daughter the following day. She said that it was “just what she needed to hear.” I heard of one remarkable effect from someone who came as a guest and used what he or she learned from the lecture to comfort a friend the following day whose relative had committed suicide. I also heard of two other newcomers who said that what they heard over the lecture weekend was “what we have been searching for.”

The three events (two public lectures and one lecture preparation workshop) were an amazing dynamic. In the past, we often think of who would really have loved/benefited/been blessed by the lecture AFTER we have heard it. Well, we were able to build up steam over the weekend. Saturday’s lecture had about 78 people in an excellent auditorium. By Sunday, there were over 110 people at our church in the afternoon. We estimate that about 30 people on Saturday and perhaps 40 on Sunday were newcomers—and there was a long gathering Sunday of those attendees who stayed and talked—at least half the group mingled and looked at the literature table.

We sold a Bible, about 15 Science and Healths, 2 full text quarterlies, a Gratitude Book and Relationship Book, and gave away many Sentinels, Journals and one used Miscellaneous Writings. We had lovely conversations, and know that we will continue to see the blessings from this glorious weekend.
