Continuing church progress

Our church continues to grow, and more than half of the people who attend are not members. Our Sunday School has had as many as 33 students one Sunday, though it is normally smaller than that. I used to think that we were full when we had 18 but now it looks empty when we have over 20.

Our Bible Lession Discussion Group meets every other Tuesday and we have lively talks about what we are learning about Christian Science. We have one person who has been coming to a Christian Science Church for only three months, and is eating this truth up. He is a member of an AA group, and finds that much of what we talk about he already believed in. He has already had several healings. It is fun to watch him because he was raised Catholic, and never has read the Bible. He can't wait to read a story that comes up in the lesson from the Bible. He doesn't know how the story is going to end, so he says he can't put the book down. We have recommended that he read the whole story as the lesson can only cover a small part of the full story as given in the Bible. We have another small group that eats out after church and this man has never missed going out with us.

Our Reading Room is active and we have a traveling Reading Room that comes to church every Wed. We are in the process of having to move, as they are about to take down the building we are now in and build an inn on that spot. We don't know where we are going, but we are already loving the place, where ever it may be. We are going to have a hymn sing using the new supplement to the hymnal after one of our Sunday Services. There are members who would like to get together and do that at least once a month. So you see, what good is going on here. I know that we give God the credit for this increase, but it started with your lecture. Life is good.
